1. Booking and Payment Terms
Securing your dates at our single-property retreat is a straightforward process. To ensure a smooth reservation, please note our payment structure:
Deposit Requirement: A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your requested dates. Your booking is only confirmed once this deposit is received.
Balance Payment: The remaining balance of your booking total is due 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
Late Payments: If we do not receive your final balance on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. In this event, your 20% deposit will not be refunded.
2. Cancellation Policy
We understand that unexpected events can change your travel plans. Our cancellation policy is designed to be clear and fair to both guests and the property:
More than 30 days notice: If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days before your check-in date, we will refund any payments made toward the final balance. The initial 20% deposit remains non-refundable.
Less than 30 days notice: Cancellations made within 30 days of your arrival date are entirely non-refundable.
Travel Insurance: We strongly advise you to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel disruptions.
If you request us to cancel a booking after we have confirmed the booking with the guest, we reserve the right to charge you a cancellation charge of £160 to cover any costs incurred as a result of cancellation as well as an administration fee on behalf of Abergele Holiday. We will not charge you for any other charges for cancellation of a booking.
In certain circumstances, Abergele Holiday may require to cancel a booking which has been confirmed with a guest, in particular where you are non-responsive (either with Abergele Holiday or a guest), where you do not honour a booking or where you have not completed a valid cancellation process (which results in Abergele Holiday cancelling on your behalf). In these circumstances, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation charge of £160.
3. Property Use and Guest Responsibilities
Abergele Holiday is a privately owned home. We ask that you treat the property with respect so we can continue to offer a high-quality experience for all future guests.
Guest Limits: The property must only be occupied by the guests listed on the original booking confirmation.
Care of Property: You agree to keep the property and all furnishings, fixtures, and fittings in the same state of repair and condition as they were at the start of your stay.
Reporting Damage: You must report any damage or breakages immediately to our team so we can arrange for repairs or replacements before the next guests arrive. You may be held liable for the cost of repairing significant damage.
4. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment, we must outline the limits of our liability during your stay:
Personal Property: We accept no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings or vehicles brought onto the property.
Personal Injury: We are not liable for any personal injury or illness sustained by you or any member of your party during your stay, unless caused by our direct negligence.
Uncontrollable Events: We cannot be held liable for disruptions to your stay caused by events outside our control, such as extreme weather, power outages, or localized travel restrictions.
